Precise testing for the highest quality
Whether an aluminium product fulfills its intended functionality depends on the precise testing of various parameters. This step puts both the required properties and the dimensional accuracy to the test. Our metallurgical expertise is in demand particularly when large forces or tolerances in the range of thousandths of a millimeter are involved. Quality and perfection are crucial in all production steps. Only through precise measurements can we ensure that a material or component exactly meets the required specifications.
Measuring accuracy down to the smallest detail
When machining aluminium components, it is particularly important to adhere exactly to the design specifications – here, not only millimeters count, but often thousandths of a millimeter as well. Our tests focus on whether the dimensions of a component are precisely correct. Since some components can be very large, we use state-of-the-art technology to check the components accurately. One example is our ZEISS coordinate measuring machine in a bridge design, which works with a particularly large measuring volume. Since the device is accessible from all sides, it is ideal for testing components that have to be transported by industrial trucks.
