PLANAL 5083
Combines the precision of a surface machined plate with the mechanical properties of a 5083 rolled plate.
PLANAL materials are precision-milled aluminium rolled plates on both sides. The mechanical properties of the 5083 rolled plate in combination with the advantage of the precision surface are therefore characteristic of this group of materials. The milling and removal of the rolling skin on both sides does not change the mechanical properties and the material condition. PLANAL 5083 is also heat treated before milling to reduce residual stresses and distortion.
