Anyone who successfully trades in or uses aluminium cast plates is familiar with the challenges posed by a lack of standards. This has now been remedied. Together with other companies from the aluminium cast plate market segment, we have contributed to the development of a fundamental DIN SPEC as part of the WGM Technical Working Group. For the first time, this provides clear guidance for informed decisions.

With its successful approval by the German Institute for Standardisation (DIN), a standardised framework is now available for the first time. It helps companies to better understand technical parameters and make informed decisions when selecting materials.
